Ondrej Hamulak

Ondrej Hamuľák is a distinguished senior researcher and lecturer in EU law at the Faculty of Law, Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic, and an Adjunct professor in strategic EU legal affairs at Taltech Law School, Estonia. Since 2020, he's a founding member of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at Comenius University in Bratislava, focusing on the rule of law in the EU. Specializing in EU constitutional law, his research delves into EU-national law relations, state sovereignty, and fundamental rights within the EU's legal framework. Ondrej has contributed to over 10 research projects, including one on the EU's digital sovereignty, and authored around 100 scholarly works with over 500 citations globally. Beyond research, he's committed to academic governance, serving as vice-dean for science and research at Palacký University since 2020, and holding various roles in academic and governmental bodies, including the Czech Council of Higher Education Institutions and the Czech Science Foundation's expert panel. His active involvement extends to organizing the international Young Lawyers Debates in Olomouc.
