Terms and Conditions

FutureLaw is organized by LEGID Academy MTÜ, a non-profit organization founded by LEGID LawTech OÜ with a purpose to develop, support and advise on legal innovation and legal technology fields and related technologies, to accelerate the legal innovation and legal technology ecosystems by organizing and conducting conferences dedicated to the fields of legal technology and related technologies, and LEGID LawTech OÜ itself.

This document sets out the terms and conditions between LEGID LawTech OÜ and FutureLaw conference ticket holders.

By purchasing a ticket for FutureLaw conference you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.

LEGID LawTech OÜ reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. Any amended terms and conditions will be posted to this website.

Ticket prices

All prices indicated on the futurelaw.ee website are in euros and include Estonian VAT 20%

Student tickets are only valid in combination with a valid student ID. This must be presented at the badge pick-up and shown on request to gain admission to the event venue. If no such verification is provided, the purchased ticket is invalid, and the person will not be granted access to the event.

Refund and cancellation policy

All tickets are non-refundable. The right of withdrawal for the ticket buyers is not applicable.

However, it is possible to allocate the ticket to a third party if the ticket has been fully paid for. Ticket holder name, company or any other information can be changed by the person who purchased the ticket changing the data on the Ticket order by clicking on the Ticket order number in the confirmation email. Each new ticket holder will then receive the confirmation e-mail.

Please note that changes to ticket holder details can be made only until 15 days prior to the event.

The purchased tickets are for your personal or business use and may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes under any circumstances. In case of resale or attempted resale of tickets (or any other breach of this condition), LEGID LawTech OÜ reserves the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.

LEGID LawTech OÜ is not responsible for granting visas necessary for participation in the FutureLaw conference. If a participant’s visa is not granted, tickets for any event or conference will not be refunded.

Terms of payment

LEGID LawTech OÜ accepts payments only in euros.

The following methods of payment are available:

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Revolut worldwide;
  • Sofort, iDEAL and local bank payments in selection of countries.

LEGID LawTech OÜ may request verification of payment for the purpose of resolving possible disputes about the purchase.

Entering the event

After purchasing a ticket for the FutureLaw conference you will receive an automatically generated registration confirmation and the tickets. This confirmation including a unique bar code should be kept for acclaiming your FutureLaw wristband that will grant access to the FutureLaw conference.

The pick-up locations will be located onsite at the event venue, where the latter will be communicated by email at least 4 weeks prior to the event. When picking up the wristband, the ticket buyer must present the e-mail ticket with the unique bar code as well as a valid ID.

Event cancellation, postponement & substitution policy

Although speakers and topics are confirmed at least 1 month before the FutureLaw conference, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may require replacement, modification or cancellation of speakers and/or topics. As such, LEGID LawTech OÜ reserves the right to change or substitute the speakers and/or topics being advertised as necessary without any liability to you. Any substitutions or changes will be updated on our website as soon as possible.

If the event is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), ticket buyers will be refunded the total price of the purchased ticket(s). LEGID LawTech OÜ is not responsible for other expenses incurred.

In case of postponement of the FutureLaw conference, tickets may be returned within the deadline set by LEGID LawTech OÜ.

Liability

LEGID LawTech OÜ shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage to any person or property, however caused. LEGID LawTech OÜ is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. Each participant must take necessary measures and make provision for his/her own insurance.

LEGID LawTech OÜ reserves the right to refuse admission to any event or conference for any behavior it deems unacceptable or for breach of these terms and conditions.
