Stefania is an information designer specializing in contract design and simplification, with more than 15 years of experience at the crossroads of law, design, and user experience. A co-founder of the Legal Design Alliance and co-author of its Legal Design Manifesto, she is recognized as one of the pioneers of legal design. Stefania earned her doctorate at Aalto University with research on how visualization improves contract usability and business relationships, and she continues to advocate for human-centered contracts as Contract Designer in Residence at World Commerce & Contracting. An award-winning speaker, trainer, and author, she is known for her expertise in information architecture, visual communication, plain language—and for her relentless attention to detail.
